چکیده

Background The lymph node metastasis rate in right-sided colon cancer is unknown, and the optimal central vascular ligation level remains controversial. We aimed to determine short-term results of radical surgery with extended dissection cancer. Methods This prospective multicenter observational study included patients stage II/III from five hospitals. each station was analyzed according tumor location main feeding artery. Results Between April 2018 August 2021, 208 underwent around superior mesenteric artery (SMA) vein (SMV). In transverse cancer, 7.5% 2.5% metastases occurred SMV SMA at root middle colic (MCA), respectively; 6.7% right caecal 1.9% SMA. ascending 1.1% SMV. Of tumors, 17% fed mainly by ileocolic had along or artery, as did 66.7% 41.2% MCA (p = 0.01). Postoperative complications 42 (20.2%). Conclusion Routine prophylactic lymphadenectomy might not be necessary caecum Dissection may cases when MCA.
